Working Principle
The filtration process takes place through layered media arranged according to particle size and density. Water enters from the top of the vessel and passes through the anthracite layer, which captures larger suspended particles. It then flows through the fine sand layer, where smaller impurities and turbidity are removed. Clean water is collected through an under-drain system at the bottom. Over time, accumulated impurities are removed through a backwashing process, ensuring continuous and efficient performance.
